Biggest live price gaps (same-spec stones)

Facet Wire matches stones spec-for-spec — same shape, carat, color, clarity and cut — across retailers. These are the widest live spreads in the current data. Same stone specs, wildly different prices:

How the Index is built

Every night Facet Wire scrapes its retailer set and rebuilds its listing database. Once a week the Index is recomputed from that data: medians (never averages — medians resist outlier listings), per-carat normalization so shapes compare fairly, and spec-for-spec gap matching. Listings under $100 are excluded as data errors. Retailer "cheapest" calls require at least 5 listings in the shape so a single cheap stone can't win a category. The full matching rules are published at How Facet Wire matches diamonds.

Spotted a price we missed? The full live database is searchable — search all listings — and jewelers can track competitors continuously with Facet Wire Pro.
