Kylie Jenner's $50 Million Diamond Bra, By the Numbers
Facet Wire tracks 2,739 live diamond listings across ten retailers, refreshed nightly. On Sunday October 18, 2026, the most expensive diamond garment ever made walked a runway — so we ran the numbers on it against the market we watch every day.
On Sunday night, Kylie Jenner closed the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show wearing the Fantasy Bra — the first one since 2018, and at a stated $50 million, the most expensive ever made. The bra, built by Jacob & Co., carries 4,410 natural diamonds totaling 1,373.39 carats, with a 75.54-carat radiant-cut Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond at its center reported at about $22 million on its own.
We price diamonds for a living. So instead of adjectives, here is the piece broken into numbers — the reported specs, our math on what they imply per carat, and what comparable stones actually cost right now in the listings we track nightly.
The bra by the numbers
The figures below are the reported specs (USA Today, October 18 2026, and the Jacob & Co. / Victoria's Secret statement) — not our estimates:
| Spec | Figure |
|---|---|
| Valuation | $50 million — most expensive Fantasy Bra ever |
| Diamonds | 4,410 natural diamonds, 1,373.39 carats total |
| Center stone | 75.54-carat radiant-cut natural Fancy Vivid Yellow, reported at ~$22 million |
| Setting | No fabric — 3,218 components in 18-karat white gold, built to flex like cloth |
| Labor | 1,000+ hours, 15 artisans |
| Maker / occasion | Jacob & Co. for the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, worn by Kylie Jenner |
The math (ours, from the reported figures)
$50 million spread over 1,373.39 carats works out to about $36,400 per carat blended across the whole piece. The center stone is priced on a very different level: about $22 million for 75.54 carats is roughly $291,000 per carat — about eight times the blended average. That ratio is the whole story of fancy-color pricing in one garment: one exceptional yellow diamond carrying nearly half the stated value of 4,410 stones.
Subtract the center stone and the remaining 4,409 diamonds carry roughly $28 million over about 1,298 carats — around $21,600 per carat for the melee and supporting stones. That is the number to hold in your head for the next section.
The stones that could build it
Here is what comparable real diamonds cost in the market we track. These are live retailer listings in our current feed — prices link to the listings:
| Stone | Retailer | Price | Per carat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Natural radiant 3.10 ct, I, VVS1 | Blue Nile $27,048 | $27,048 | $8,725 |
| Natural radiant 3.04 ct, G, SI1 | Blue Nile $35,821 | $35,821 | $11,783 |
| Natural radiant 3.03 ct, G, VVS1 | Blue Nile $50,198 | $50,198 | $16,567 |
| Natural radiant 3.02 ct, D, IF | Blue Nile $85,774 | $85,774 | $28,402 |
Those four are the largest natural radiants in our tracked set — and note the shape connection: the bra's 75.54-carat center stone is itself a radiant. If you wanted a radiant in the biggest size the ordinary market actually stocks, the top of our board is the 3.02 ct D flawless at $85,774. Browse the full category on our natural radiant page (lab-grown equivalents live on the lab radiant page).
One gap in our feed worth stating plainly: we currently track no true fancy-yellow natural diamonds. The only yellow stones in our 2,739 listings are two lab-grown stones at With Clarity — a 2.99 ct oval at $2,591 ($867/ct) and a 2.09 ct marquise at $2,734 ($1,308/ct). Fancy Vivid Yellow naturals trade in a market far above anything on a retail comparison feed — which is exactly why one 75.54-carat example can be reported at $22 million. Fantasy Bra price history
| Year | Wearer | Stated value |
|---|---|---|
| 1996 | Claudia Schiffer (the first) | $1M |
| 2000 | Gisele Bündchen (Heavenly Star — the old record) | $15M |
| 2018 | Elsa Hosk (the last before this year's) | Not in our verified figures — listed without a value |
| 2026 | Kylie Jenner | $50M |
The 2026 piece is worth more than three times the previous record. For context on what ordinary carat weights cost outside the Fantasy Bra universe, our 1-carat diamond price guide and diamond budget guide break down real retail prices by size.
What $50 million buys in the real market
Against our tracked natural-diamond prices, $50 million is difficult to spend. The largest natural stone in our current feed is an 8.02 ct cushion (G, VVS1) at Blue Nile at $327,746 ($40,866/ct). At that price, $50 million buys about 152 of them — roughly 1,219 carats of top-grade large stones, still fewer carats than the bra holds. The next-largest tracked naturals: a 5.20 ct pear (G, VS1) at With Clarity at $297,952 ($57,298/ct), and a 5.05 ct oval (I, SI2) at Frank Darling at $58,080.50 ($11,501/ct).
Put side by side with the bra's blended ~$36,400/ct: everyday large naturals in our feed run from ~$8,700/ct (a 3.10 ct radiant at $27,048) up past $57,000/ct for the best-cut 5-carat-plus goods. The bra's average sits inside that real-world band — it is the center stone, at ~$291,000 per carat, that no retail feed can touch. Frequently asked questions
Is the Fantasy Bra really worth $50 million?
That is the stated valuation from the maker and Victoria's Secret, reported by USA Today on October 18, 2026. It is a valuation of a one-of-one showpiece — center-stone rarity, 1,000+ hours of labor, and the runway premium — not a per-carat retail price. Our math above shows what the figures imply per carat.
Could I buy the bra's diamonds individually?
Not the actual stones — they were cut and set for this piece. But comparable shapes and sizes trade every day: the tables above link live listings for the largest radiants and largest naturals we currently track, with prices captured in our nightly sweep.
Why doesn't Facet Wire list any fancy-yellow natural diamonds?
Because none of the ten retailers we track currently list one in the inventory bands we cover. Our feed holds 569 natural stones; zero are fancy-yellow naturals. The two yellow stones we do track are lab-grown. Coverage expands over time — search the live feed to check the current state.
